North Las Vegas starts just across the city line from downtown, about eight minutes and three miles from Las Vegas City Hall in light traffic. The neighborhoods run from older blocks near Las Vegas Boulevard North and Cheyenne Avenue to the newer master-planned streets of Aliante and the homes around Craig Ranch Regional Park, with Nellis Air Force Base on the east side.
